Now that I have your attention.I don't know if you have noticed lately but it seems like things have gotten a little to serious on the fields as of late. I for one, and the board for two think it is time to shake things up a bit. My motto has always been that you bond with your team on the field, but you meet new people (wink, wink, nudge, nudge) at the bar. So go there. Wait, not right now...Thursday, after the games.
If you haven't been to the bar before, here is what you can expect - Flip cup, beer pong, karaoke. Not to mention the smell of a potential romance in the air - don't deny it, we know that you have a kickball crush (everyone does) and the BAR is the perfect place to make it happen cap'n. Just look at Billy & Julie - kickball's newest budding romance, until Thursday, who will be next? ;-)
As you are well aware, kickball is super-fun. Probably one of the best sports out there. Top two at least. But what REALLY makes it is the people. If you aren't coming to the bar and meeting all of these awesome people, with whom you now share a very special bond of kickball with, then you are missing out on 80% of the fun. INCENTIVE: This week the board will purchase TWO PITCHERS OF BEER - that's right 2!! For the team that brings the most players to the Skybox this Thursday (11/4/10). You should also get practicing because we are planning to host a flip cup tournament very soon.
PS - we know that Skybox isn't the best bar, especially with some recent changes...however it is still OUR bar, so let's take that place over and have our way with it. The board is working hard to take care of some of the issues and we always welcome feedback about the bar, the league, anything kickball or non-kickball related.
